Booking Terms and Conditions

Making and managing course bookings

Only people aged 18 or over may attend a Clayability course. 

You are able to book onto a course via our website Booking page, enabled by the Bookwhen booking platform. If you successfully book and pay for a course you will receive a Booking Confirmation email from Bookwhen (mail@bookwhen.com). This will include a booking reference number. Please quote this reference number if you need to contact us about your booking. 

Payment for places on courses is made via card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) and taken online as part of the Bookwhen booking system. 

A week before the course start date we will contact the attendee via email from hello@clayability.co.uk. We will share more details about the course and ask about any dietary requirements or allergies.

Giving a course as a gift

A place or places on Clayability courses can be booked as a gift.  In order to give a place as a gift you must choose an available date and complete the booking and payment process for a place on that course. During the booking process you will be asked whether the place is a gift and if so to provide the name and contact details of the person attending. We will then send you a Clayability gift card to print and give to them. This card will include the name of the attendee, the date of the course booked and an overview of the course. We won’t contact the attendee until a week before the start date of the course.

Moving a booked place

You may request that a booked place be moved to an alternative date but only if:
a) you contact us more than 30 days before the course start date,
b) a there is a suitable alternative date available  

Requests to move a booked place should be sent to hello@clayability.co.uk quoting your booking reference number.  

We will do our best to move the booking if a suitable place is available at the time that we process your request, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.

Cancellations

You may cancel a booked place on any course up to 30 days before the course start date and receive a full refund – minus a £10 admin fee. You must notify us of your intention to cancel by emailing hello@clayability.co.uk quoting your booking reference number. If there are spaces available on a similar future course we will offer you the option to move your booking. When no spaces are available on a future date or you do not wish to reschedule then we will process your full refund (less the £10 admin fee).

If you need to cancel a booked place between 30 and 8 days before the course start date you will receive a refund of 50% of the course fee minus a £10 admin fee.  You must notify us of your intention to cancel by emailing hello@clayability.co.uk quoting your booking reference number.  If you or we are able to find someone suitable to take your place then you will also be refunded the remaining 50%.  

No refund will be given for bookings cancelled by you within 7 days of the course start date.

If Clayability needs to cancel a course for any reason then we will do our best to offer you a suitable alternative date. If this isn’t possible then you will receive a full refund

Non-attendance

If you do not attend on the first day of a course you may not attend the other days, and you will not be able to reschedule or receive a refund.
