This one day course is ideal for beginners, or improvers looking to develop their core throwing skills.
As a student, you’ll work through all the key steps of throwing, with helpful demos and plenty of time to practice and ask questions.
By the end of the day, complete beginners will be confidently throwing pots. Meanwhile, improvers get the opportunity to refine their technique and try new forms.
You will usually produce around 10 pots, which Bill will then finish, fire and glaze, ready to collect 4-5 weeks later.
The course runs over 1 day, from 10am – 4pm, with maximum of 6 students
A communal home-cooked lunch and other refreshments are included as part of your day.
The course fee also includes all materials and firing costs
Course fee: £160

“It was just the course I needed to progress my throwing. The teaching was great. Bill was very helpful and supportive but left time for me to try everything for myself, only stepping in when asked.”
