Our studios and how we’ve adapted for Covid-19

Clayability is based in two studios set in the beautiful Walled Garden at Wrington. Classes and courses are taught in both studios, with up to 4 students in one room and 3 in the other. In good weather we sometimes take work outside!

Each student has their own personal workstation, equipped with its own wheel, tools and supply of clay and slips. These are spaced well apart allowing for comfortable side-by-side working and social distancing.

All tools and surfaces are cleaned between classes. Each studio also has a hand washing station, as well as wall mounted hand sanitiser by each entrance.

Bill and Ian wear professional face visors for teaching, and we ask that all students wear face coverings in the studios (unless they are exempt).

All of this is based on government guidelines to create a "Covid secure environment".

If you’d like to know more detail about what we’ve put in place then do get in touch.

We’re very pleased to receive our ‘Good To Go’ certificate from Visit England. This accreditation means we have met all Covid 19 Government guidelines and have created a space that is both reassuring and enjoyable.

Other information about visiting the studios
